Welcome to «L'Arche des Crétillons»

Situed in the hearth of Valais, this place is almost the last area of natural meadow at low altitude in the canton of Valais!

This area on the left bank of the Rhone river (Municipality of Chalais) presents a rich and important ecosystem with humid zones, steppe like meadows, forest, rich fauna and a "bisse" (typical stream built centuries ago to provide Valais's meadows with water). The meadows and pasture lands are used by several species in order to ensure an optimal maintenance of the territory.

We are happy to show you our animals, flora as well as our home made products during a pedagogical visit of our farm. Do not hesitate to contact us right now in order to get more information.
